3D Printed Water Jet Trim Tool
A new technology we now offer for trim tooling: Water Jet Trim Tool.
No post process CNCing on the actual tool cavity allow us to:
Create vacuum holes in the surface
Vacuum channels to create a seal to hold the part in place
Drainage for excess water so the water doesn’t soak into the part
Stainless steel plates around the trim lines to prevent any extra erosion
Tool is on an aluminum base.
Our 3D printed tooling technology is a great fit for water jet trimming as other options would be composite or an aluminum tool.
