3D Printed Tooling
Catalysis can design and 3D-print tooling as well as manufacture parts, making us your perfect one-stop-shop. When compared to traditional tooling, our mass production level low to medium volume parts are completed in approximately half the time and half the cost, without losing any of the quality. Our experience also means that we can support development and engineering needs in addition to 3D direct printing of parts. This all adds up to the Catalysis Complete Solution!
Our Catalysis FX™ Tooling technology provides many benefits, including a 50% cost & time reduction.
Low cost 3D printed tooling combine with a standard plastic injection process enables low volume production parts to be produced with a 50% reduction in cost & time.
With our Catalysis™ 3D Printed tooling technology, more complexity means higher advantage for 3D printed tooling for foam.
Founded on Experience
While working at Honda of America Manufacturing, Catalysis founders Darrell Stafford and Rick Shibko witnessed how much focus was on the reduction of product development schedules. The result was a negative impact on the reduction of tooling lead times, subsequently resulting in higher prototype tooling costs. With more new products being introduced all the time and the increasing frequency of model changes, the prototype tooling costs and lead times became a challenge to reduce.
Catalysis Additive Tooling was founded by utilizing the collective 60+ years of automotive engineering, tooling, and new model development experience of Stafford and Shibko. That experience combined with their 10+ years of Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing research allows them to offer their customers a complete solution to support their Development and Production needs.
MEET THE TEAM3D Printing Diverse
At Catalysis Additive Tooling we take an agnostic approach to 3D Printing. We apply a number of different 3D Printing technologies and select the best technology to meet and exceed our customer needs.
The Complete Solution
The Catalysis Additive Tooling advantage is that we offer The Complete Solution for our customers tooling and part needs. We can support development and engineering needs in addition to 3D Direct Print of part, designing a 3D printed tool, printing the tool, and manufacturing the Mass Production level parts/Parts Quality confirmation.
